Disney finally announced more details for its streaming service, Disney Plus, on Thursday. While it will already boast the entire Disney motion picture library (and hopefully some of the zany sequels), Disney is gearing up for some original exclusive streaming content and taking full advantage of its third-party properties. Notably, Disney seeks to expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Disney Plus titles. Particularly, popular characters who don’t — and likely won’t — have their own stand-alone movies will get Disney Plus shows. These shows will be high in quality and intricately involved in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“A post-Endgame MCU will be extremely different, and extremely focused on Disney Plus tying into our future movies,” said Marvel president Kevin Feige.
Here are the announced Disney Plus Marvel shows:
WandaVision
As the title implies, this show will feature Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany, and their relationship will reportedly be just one of the highlights. Tentatively, this looks like it will take place pre-Avengers: Infinity War — unless both these heroes are resurrected.
.@Marvel fans, unite! Elizabeth Olsen and @Paul_Bettany star as Wanda Maximoff and The Vision in a new #DisneyPlus series, WandaVision.

The Falcon and Winter Soldier
Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson team up. Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie have long discussed a possible team-up between two of Captain America’s closest allies. At the end of Avengers: Infinity War, both of them had been snapped by Thanos, so this might be a prequel — or they could both come back.
Loki
Tom Hiddleston returns to the role of Loki for this miniseries. Marvel fans adore Hiddleston’s take on the trickster god. Considering his very tiny part in Avengers: Infinity War, it makes sense that they would want more. It will delve into his past — and perhaps his future.
What If?
Based on the Marvel comic line of the same name, the animated series will examine zany alternate timelines based on “what if?” questions. The first episode will ask the question of “what if Peggy Carter became a super soldier?”
Additionally, certain Marvel films will be available on the platform. Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Iron Man 3, Thor: Dark World, Black Panther, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Thor: Ragnarok will be available at launch. Two docuseries called Marvel 616 and Marvel Hero Project are also in the works.
